We got the great "Magic" Johnson for starting point guard without a doubt, the greatest point guard to ever play the game.
There is no one better at the shooting guard position ever(from the lakers, of course, MJ is the greatest SG of all time), No one scored like kobe, who in his best year averaged 35.4 points a game.
Elgin Baylor, Played many years as a laker but never won a championship. Although after retiring the lakers then won the NBA championship after a record 39-3 record, he was still awarded a ring.
Pau Gasol. A great secondary scorer, especially behind Kobe Bryant. He won two straight championships with the lakers after being traded to them from the grizzlies. Some people say Karl Malone should be mentioned as the greatest power forward for this team, I chose Pau because of the fact that Malone was very old and wasn't the same player he was for the jazz. Although, Gasol played the prime years of his career for Los Angeles and proved his worth.
The Lakers have many mentionable centers for their all time team, but none more dominant than the master of the skyhook. Kareem is the all time leader in points, 6 championships, and also a phenomenal rebounder. Other players that could deserve this would be Shaquille O'neal, and Wilt Chamberlain. Although Wilt had maybe the greatest season ever as a player, he also played in a different era where Bill Russell, was the only one around his physique, and Russell beat him repeatedly. Shaq was dominant, no other word to describe it, but even the beast of a man Shaquille O'Neal wouldn't be able to stop the skyhook.
